Who we are
Vault Ledger is an evaluation desk for password managers. We publish one ranked list per year, scored on a single public method. The desk is editorial, not a vendor: we accept no sponsored placements, and every tool entry links to its official site where one is verified.
How we work
Fields are verified against vendor documentation and third-party test benches before they enter a ranking; anything unverified is marked as such rather than estimated. The current run is 2026.10 (10 password managers, method version 2026.10). The list is updated between editions when a vendor ships a material change, and the annual edition is archived at a permanent URL (/rankings/2026).
